Street evangelism ministry - Good Messengers Ministries

We've had street evangelists partnering up since the 1980s here in Indianapolis.  In the last 10 years, as we've become aware of Ray Comfort and Living Waters, it has drastically impacted the message that we use in
evangelism- we now use the law as a tutor to lead people to Christ.  We established Good Messengers Ministries a few years ago to combine forces and to cry out for more harvesters and train them up to reach the lost.  We have meetings, retreats and occasional conferences to unite Indiana in street evangelism and train people up.  In 2009 we had an evangelism conference with Ray Comfort and Mark Spence where over 100 churches were represented.
Last year we passed out approximately 400,000 gospel tracts and 6000 CDs/DVDs/books.  We enjoy most just getting out on the streets regularly and sharing the gospel in pairs or threesomes. We also can't resist all the large events that come to Indianapolis.  We pass out tracts and preach at major events such as the Indy 500 where we passed out 50,000 tracts in May, and the upcoming Allstate 400, a Nascar event 7/31.
